Hello,
New version of Elvis (version 2.1) supports external source code tag system
like GLOBAL. You can use GLOBAL's facilities in Elvis editor.
You can see the usage at:

You need following programs:
Elvis-2.1: ftp://ftp.cs.pdx.edu/pub/elvis/elvis-2.1.tar.gz
