Why do you think this commit is to blame for that?  Adding
USES=3D{gnome,sdl,xorg} does not add new dependencies that were not
there before.

emulators/qemu was recently updated to 4.1.1 in r518397 without any
regard for slave ports and I would look at that commit instead.
