    May I have your ldconfig -r |grep ssl results?

Here is mine,

	58:-lssl.2 =3D> /usr/lib/compat/libssl.so.2

-r--r--r--  1 root  wheel  190216 Oct 29 20:06 /usr/lib/libssl.so.3
[clsung@12:09pm][~] >ls -al /usr/lib/libssl.so
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  11 Oct 29 20:06 /usr/lib/libssl.so -> libssl.so.3


    I just wonder if -l link to improper version of ssl library.
