The machine is also at the latest > BIOS, however, so that may contribute as well. normally I would but right now I need to get this server up and running ASAP. and switching cables at the data center is a 2+ hour operation given the horrid traffic on the DC beltway. i can't generate that kind of load easily at the office :-)
