Hello, I'm looking to get a sound blaster PCI 128 to run under FreeBSD 3.1. After scouring the archives, etc. I cannot get a definitive answer as to whether or not this beast is supported under 3.1 (as a "Soundblaster"). There was a snippet saying that a driver for es1370-based cards (which the PCI128 appears to be). So, I checked out www.4-front.com and they claim their OSS sound drivers support this card. Anybody currently using this card under FreeBSD 3.1 with or without the OSS drivers?? Please respond if so!
