It doesn't produce any sound. I think the Phonon sound system of KDE is not working. Alert sounds work in KDE but phonon setup shows no hardware. I tried building kde-workbench ((not sure if that is the correct package name) with VLC backend instead of Gstreamer but still no luck. Any help would be great.
