https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D240913 Bug ID: 240913 Summary: Mk/Uses/motif.mk: Remove -lXp from MOTIFLIB Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Ports Framework Assignee: portmgr@FreeBSD.org Reporter: zeising@FreeBSD.org CC: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 207929 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D207929&action= =3Dedit remove -lXp from MOTIFLIB libXp is going away, it is deprecated upstream, and the extension it suppor= ts hasn't been in xserver for quite some time. Mk/Uses/motif.mk hardcodes -lXp for everything that uses Motif, unless MOTIFLIB is overridden. Attached pa= tch removed this lib from MOTIFLIB. I've run local builds with everything with USES=3Dmotif and there is no fal= lout, I don't think an exp-run is needed, but motif.mk is owned by portmgr@, so I= 'd like to get approval for the change. With this change, the remaining ports that depend on libXp can be fixed. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
