Van Gyzen >Release: 4.4-STABLE >Organization: >Environment: N/A >Description: FreeBSD's awk is GNU awk, but the gawk command doesn't exist (in the base system). Some Linux binaries assume that "gawk" exists. Consider linking /usr/bin/awk to /usr/bin/gawk. Granted, this would conflict with ports/lang/gawk, but perhaps the port should be removed in favor of keeping src/contrib/awk up to date. >How-To-Repeat: N/A >Fix: N/A >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
