I'd like to see this fixed, because I love the look on the linux newbies faces at work, when they watch me use pib to install a port with multiple dependencies with a single click of a button. It's just great! I've attached a trivial patch to correct item 2 >How-To-Repeat: o Fix the directory structure for pib by removing all directories but files. o Do a make install o Run pib and select a port o use the "?" (Next to the port titlebar in the browser window) to display the port's description. o A dialog box advises that pib can't find /usr/ports/<port>/pkg/DESCR >Fix: Trivial patch attached begin 644 patch-ac.uue M*BHJ('!I8BYT8VP)5V5D($]C="`R-2`Q,#HR-CHT."`R,#`P"BTM+2!P:6(N M=&-L+F1E<V-R+6UO9`E7960@3V-T(#(U(#$P.C(U.C4X(#(P,#`**BHJ*BHJ M*BHJ*BHJ*BHJ"BHJ*B`U,"PU-B`J*BHJ"B`@(R`\<&]R=#XZ<&%T:`D)<&%T M:"!O9B!T:&4@<&]R=`H@(",@/'!O<G0^.G!R969I>`D)=VAE<F4@=&AE('!O M<G0@:6YS=&%L;',*("`C(#QP;W)T/CIC;VUM96YT"6)R:65F(&1E<V-R:7!T M:6]N"B$@(R`\<&]R=#XZ9'!A=&@)"7!A=&@@=&\@1$530U(@9FEL90H@(",@ M/'!O<G0^.FUA:6YT"0EM86EN=&%I;F5R"B`@(R`\<&]R=#XZ8V%T"0EC871E M9V]R>0H@(",@/'!O<G0^.F)D97`)"6)U:6QD+61E<&5N9',*+2TM(#4P+#4V M("TM+2T*("`C(#QP;W)T/CIP871H"0EP871H(&]F('1H92!P;W)T"B`@(R`\ M<&]R=#XZ<')E9FEX"0EW:&5R92!T:&4@<&]R="!I;G-T86QL<PH@(",@/'!O M<G0^.F-O;6UE;G0)8G)I968@9&5S8W)I<'1I;VX*(2`C(#QP;W)T/CID<&%T M:`D)<&%T:"!T;R!P:V<M9&5S8W(@9FEL90H@(",@/'!O<G0^.FUA:6YT"0EM M86EN=&%I;F5R"B`@(R`\<&]R=#XZ8V%T"0EC871E9V]R>0H@(",@/'!O<G0^ M.F)D97`)"6)U:6QD+61E<&5N9',**BHJ*BHJ*BHJ*BHJ*BHJ"BHJ*B`Q,C0Q M+#$R-#<@*BHJ*@H@(",C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C M(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C M(R,C"B`@(R!B<E]D97-C"B`@(PHA(",@1&ES<&QA>2!T:&4@*T1%4T-2(&9I M;&4@9F]R('1H92!C=7)R96YT;'D@<V5L96-T960@<&%T:"X@($EF("AM;V1E M*2!I<R`B;F5W(BP*("`C(&-R96%T92!T:&4@<F5A9&5R(&EF(&ET(&1O97-N M)W0@97AI<W0N"B`@(PH@('!R;V,@8G)?9&5S8R![>VUO9&4@;VQD?7T@>PHM M+2T@,3(T,2PQ,C0W("TM+2T*("`C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C M(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C(R,C M(R,C(R,C(R,C(PH@(",@8G)?9&5S8PH@(",*(2`C($1I<W!L87D@=&AE('!K M9RUD97-C<B!F:6QE(&9O<B!T:&4@8W5R<F5N=&QY('-E;&5C=&5D('!A=&@N M("!)9B`H;6]D92D@:7,@(FYE=R(L"B`@(R!C<F5A=&4@=&AE(')E861E<B!I M9B!I="!D;V5S;B=T(&5X:7-T+@H@(",*("!P<F]C(&)R7V1E<V,@>WMM;V1E M(&]L9'U]('L**BHJ*BHJ*BHJ*BHJ*BHJ"BHJ*B`Q,C4T+#$R-C`@*BHJ*@H@ M("`@("`*("`@("`@<V5T('<@(BYD97-C<F5A9&5R(CL*("`*(2`@("`@<V5T M(&9N86UE("(D0G)O=W-E<BAC<&%T:"DO<&MG+T1%4T-2(CL*("`@("`@:68@ M>R%;9FEL92!R96%D86)L92`D9FYA;65=?2!["B`@"6EF('LD;6]D92`]/2`B M;F5W(GT@>PH@(`D@("`@=&M?9&EA;&]G("YM97-S86=E("(B(")#86XG="!O M<&5N('1H92!F:6QE(#I<;B1F;F%M95QN=&\@<F5A9"!P;W)T(&1E<V-R:7!T M:6]N+B(@7`HM+2T@,3(U-"PQ,C8P("TM+2T*("`@("`@"B`@("`@('-E="!W M("(N9&5S8W)E861E<B(["B`@"B$@("`@('-E="!F;F%M92`B)$)R;W=S97(H M8W!A=&@I+W!K9RUD97-C<B(["B`@("`@(&EF('LA6V9I;&4@<F5A9&%B;&4@ M)&9N86UE77T@>PH@(`EI9B![)&UO9&4@/3T@(FYE=R)]('L*("`)("`@('1K M7V1I86QO9R`N;65S<V%G92`B(B`B0V%N)W0@;W!E;B!T:&4@9FEL92`Z7&XD D9FYA;65<;G1O(')E860@<&]R="!D97-C<FEP=&EO;BXB(%P* ` end >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
