Well, I tried them (after adding a definition for MOUSE_MODEL_SYNAPTICS to mouse.h) and I'm sorry to say they have no effect on my jumpy mouse. In fact, my jumpy mouse's drug problems have only gotten worse and now buttons get pushed so wildly in addition to the jumpyness that it's becoming a cut-and-paste danger to my windows. :) I've also seen the mouse finally go completely dead, necessitating a reboot, on several occasions. It's definitely to the point where I now have to consider the PS/2 mouse driver unusable for SMP machines running -current and am in search of a serial mouse for poor zippy here. :-) The psm driver isn't suffering from this problem in -stable, thank god, and can still be used safely in the upcoming 4.1-RELEASE. - Jordan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
