The Ports Collection's policy has (almost) always been to support the latest -stable branch as well as -current. However, since right now there are two -stable branches from which there are going to be releases in the future, I would like to modify the policy a bit. The ports tree is to officially support both 3-stable and 4-stable, as well as 5-current as long as it is humanely possible. Assuming 3.5R is indeed the last release from 3-stable as planned, support for 3-stable will be dropped after 3.5-release, and we can go back to our merry two-branch ways. :) Until then, I will build packages for all three branches and the error logs will show up for all three as well. I am working on this right now. -PW To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
