I just got FreeBSD 4.4 and i installed it on my box.The instalation went fine and recompiling kernel too.But when i restarted my computer it showed an error at boot: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s2a no such device 'ad' setrootbyname failed ffs_mountroot:can't find rootvp Root mount failed: 6 ... What is wrong?I used the same kernel config in 4.3 release and it didn't show this.Should i add device ad0 in kernel conf or smth? Please help. Thanks in advance.
