No. You need to follow the instructions at http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/docs/develfaq.html to get the MarcusCom GNOME 2.5 ports tree and merge it into /usr/ports. Then you can do gnome_upgrade.sh (be sure to get the latest version). Then you should be running GNOME 2.5.
