Before I go any further, this is how some of my FreeBSD box is setup: hostname: -> zoopa.un1x.ua This is just some hn/domain I made up and named my box. I am on a cable connectiong with DHCP. I am trying to configure "mail" to receive my incoming mail from a pop server off of my ISPs server. I learned that sendmail is pretty much a mail server, so I need it to send mail from my console to the Internet. What I need to know is, how and where do I make adjustments as far as getting mail to receive mail from, lets say: pop-server.nikolex.com so this way I can setup mutt to get it and use mutt instead of mail. Secondly, what do I need to do to send mail via sendmail. I can send mail on any user on the box, i.e., root and others. But what do I do? I've read the handbook, sendmail.org and IRC. Nothing resolved. Please, someone try to help me. Thank you. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
