Hi, as a final closure to this thread, and something I added to my notes for further installations, is the requirement to add the following options to the kernel - "P1003_1B", "_KPOSIX_PRIORITY_SCHEDULING" and "_KPOSIX_VERSION=199309L". Without these, StarOffice, when you are working with the printer, hits the system log(s) with multiple "/kernel: cmd soffice.bin pid <pid> tried to use non-present sched_yield" messages. The above options add the 'sched_yield', and thus stops the squillions of messages about this.
