Hi, I have a couple of questions/comments regarding XFree86 4.0. (1) The shared libraries seem to have the same version. Are they really compatible? Can I compile something on a machine with 3.3.6, and move it to a machine with 4.0 and have it work? (And the other way around?) (2) Since you got rid of the shlib minors in PLIST, you can delete the aout support in Makefile too. (3) It seems the contrib stuff have been moved back into the main tarball, is that right? (I kinda liked the "extra" stuff being separate....) Satoshi To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
