First question is which version of FreeBSD? Then which version of Solaris? What
you want to do is possible without any problem. I run a Sun Netra with Solaris
2.6 as file server, and nfs mount it to a FreeBSD 3.1 machine which is used for
the web server. No problems in the slightest.
Previously ran same setup on FreeBSD 2.2.7 with Solaris 2.5 as well. Also, what
is the output of the 'share' command on your Solaris box?
