Yeah, we've had problems with the boot blocks for the CDROM for these
platforms and felt it was too risky to make changes about them late in the
release cycle.

Try and take the boot.flp image (all ~2.88MB of it) and dd it from another
system to the absolute front of the disk you want to install either the 4100
or the 8200 on, and the put the disk back onto the 8200 or 4100 and try
booting the disk then.
