I encounterd a problem about memory. I am using FreeBSD-RELEASE 4.6. My system can allocate only about 500MB at most. My machine is used to analyze network traffic and the program is written = in Perl. I am not sure that is resulted from Perl or FreeBSD. I wrote a C testing program to test whether I can get more than 500MB = gradually, but it failed. So, I am asking for help about how to config FreeBSD to allocate more = memory.
