It doesn't seem to support the gnuchessx features needed by the 2.0.5 xboard package. I fetched and built the latest version of gnu chess (from prep) without any major hickups. However, it fails consistently with a memory fault fairly early on, but the generated core file isn't valid. Before I dig into this further, I thought I'd ask if anyone has already solved the problem. tnx in advance tony
