This is not directed personally to Bill Fenner. I did a fix of xblackjack-2.2 (see PS ports/44768), but nothing have happened, and it did show up in the latest... > http://people.freebsd.org/~fenner/errorlogs/ports@freebsd.org.html > > Since no one is responsible for these ports, the problem won't get > fixed unless someone on this list takes the initiative. It seems that there are too few committers and too much to commit, and hence I'm offering my time to help you. I would like to have an mentor to help me out in the beginning, so if anyone in the FreeBSD Project is up for it, please send me a mail. It would be a great honour to be a part of it all! As for now, if people spend time doing fixes for ports, and they never get committed, people will eventually give up. I think it would be a great loss for the project! Myself would put more time to get those ports fixed if I would know they were committed. I know the committers do not have infinite time at their hands to test and committ all the PS's. They're studying, working, and hopefully having a life that do not include computers. :-) They're doing a great work as it is today, but there are too much to commit, so therefore I would like to help you all out. > Thanks for your help! You're welcome! :-) Best regards, Paul To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
