Sender: owner-mobile@FreeBSD.ORG X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Hi, We have FreeBSD 2.1.5 and XFree86 3.2 running on a laptop made by BIT Computers. Not exactly a well-known name but they advertize in Computer Shopper. Essentially it's a 120MHz Pentium with 32MB RAM, IDE disk and a Chips & Technologies 65545 video chipset. X-Windows works quite nicely at 800x600 and the little stalk mouse also functions properly. In theory the sound chipset is 16-bit but we can only get FreeBSD to recognize 8-bit SoundBlaster Pro.
