Now all I could see as the CMOS battery (from the manual) was a chip with the RTC as well. Anybody knows where I can buy this in the Bay Area? I couldn't find it at Fry's in Sunnyvale. Appreciate any help. Sabrina ps. I sent many querries over the past two months to the gigabyte folks but no reply.
