Yes, the PERC2/QC is supported under the aac driver, and the aac driver is part of GENERIC and exists on the boot floppies. Mike probably guessed right about your problem; the driver does not work with version 1.x of the firmware. You can find out what version you have by checking the card's BIOS banner at boot time. In any case, I would recommend upgrading to the latest firmware from Dell and trying again.
