This conflicts with sendmail setups that make use of sasl2 for authentication. In this case you need to create /usr/local/lib/sasl2/Sendmail.conf and insert e.g. "pwcheck_method: saslauthd" for sasl2 authentication to work with sendmail. Now when using the parameter @dirrm in the pkg-plist, the Sendmail.conf file gets removed when deleting or updating the port. This should be fixed by replacing @dirrm with @dirrmtry. >How-To-Repeat: 1. install security/cyrus-sasl2 2. create the file /usr/local/lib/sasl2/Sendmail.conf 3. delete (or update) security/cyrus-sasl2 4. the file Sendmail.conf got removed :-( >Fix: see patch Patch attached with submission follows: --- pkg-plist.orig 2008-09-08 12:04:55.000000000 +0200 +++ pkg-plist 2008-09-08 12:05:26.000000000 +0200 @@ -109,5 +109,5 @@ sbin/saslpasswd2 %%PORTDOCS%%%%DOCSDIR%%/html/windows.html %%PORTDOCS%%@dirrm %%DOCSDIR%%/html %%PORTDOCS%%@dirrm %%DOCSDIR%% -@dirrm lib/sasl2 +@dirrmtry lib/sasl2 @cwd %%PREFIX%% >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
