I have searched through the FAQ and the FreeBSD handbook but nowhere =
have I found how to make my own installation CD - only talk about Walnut =
Creek cds. I have burnt a couple of cds now but the installation cannot =
find my bin... directories.

Question: What do I name the directory where I put all the directories =
and files I've downloaded in order for the installation program =
(kern.flp+mfsroot.flp) to find them?

I have managed to install FreeBSD from a dos partition as per errata.txt =
I have put the directories in a c:\releases folder. I do not want to =
waste any more cds trying to get it right!

In the Handbook I found only the directories recommended for download =
and
how I make the floppies to boot the installation + hints about the =
Walnut Creek CDs.

I'm sure the answer is out there, but I'm anxious to get the FreeBSD up =
and running. Thanks and regards (I have downloaded the 3.1-Stable)
