Here's what I get when I do what it says: % setenv CVSROOT anoncvs@anoncvs.freebsd.org:/cvs % cvs co ls cvsup7.freebsd.org: Connection refused cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any) I have tried other hosts, usually with the same message. Do you have to use a different rsh client, like ext:anoncvs... and ssh? I'm using 3.3-stable from Oct. 3, 1999. Thanks.
