The physical arrangement is a master ide on each
controller and no slave. Controller is triton - on
board controller.

Playing with wd2 seems to give me errors along the
lines of:



bash# newfs /dev/rwd2s1
newfs: /dev/rwd2s1: `1' partition is unavailable
bash# fdisk /dev/rwd2

parameters extracted from in-core disklabel are:
cylinders=3298 heads=16 sectors/track=63 (1008 blks/cyl)

 Figures below won't work with BIOS for partitions not in cyl 1
parameters to be used for BIOS calculations are:
