Hmm, I guess I have been spoilt by the "SMP in GENERIC" on amd64 and i386. Let's see, the bsdinstaller snapshot CD doesn't appear to include a src distribution. (BTW, how do I perform an "eject" on the CD drive; the eject key on the keyboard doesn't do it; and it doesn't look like atacontrol has an eject command?) Ok, how do I get exactly the same version of the source via csup as the one the snapshot was built with? root@kg-g5# uname -a FreeBSD kg-g5.kg4.no 9.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT #119 r217462M: Sat Jan 15 16:05:38 CST 2011 root@comporellon.tachypleus.net:/usr/obj/powerpc.powerpc/usr/src/sys/GENERIC powerpc Is there a way to "map" that svn revision in the uname output to something in cvs? -- Torfinn
