If it can work on DOS, Windows NT or Linux, then it probably isn't (I'd say it wasn't, except there are drivers for some of the Winmodems for Linux, and possibly NT by now). I'm not sure about Win2k. Also, PCI tends to be Winmodems, ISA not (but this isn't a hard-n-fast rule either). I didn't have any luck finding a PCI card that was supported prior to 4.1-RELEASE. Getting a cheapo external modem is probably the best bet.
