Hi,

i have a problem with my onboard sound (ASUS A7A266).

i recompiled and installed my kernel with:

device pcm

after making MAKEDEV snd0, as described in the handbook everything
worked fine.

But when i want to use the sound e.g. with xmms nothing happens, it
means i could hear nothing
with windoofs everything works fine

has anybody an idea what i am doing wrong?
