Hiya > Hey, I was wondering when the qtella port will be fixed. If you're gonna 0.5.4 uses a 'KDE' macro which clashes with newer versions of KDE. In theory this issue could be hacked around, but I'm sure it's worth the effort. I did a port for 0.6.1 (?) but there were some stability issues under FreeBSD; 0.6.2 compiles with a couple of tweaks but doesn't seem to do anything (missing controls? can't find the bitmaps?). A brief look at the source shows the author is reading a list of device names from the linux /proc filesystem, so that will likely need some tweaking. I'm doing 10-12 hours a day on my current contract so I'm unlikely to have any free time to look at it for a little while; anyone else is welcome to step in if they so desire. > have peer to peer programs in the ports on FreeBSD It would be nice to > have the best one available :-p a set of installation instructions for qtella is nice, but these days I use kazaa-lite for my file-sharing needs. > source compilation would be greatly appreciated :-) What exactly did you have in mind?
