hi i have a aha2940uw on a pci card (not on my mb) all drivers i used (the ones from the kernel, ...) fail sometimes. i now use 5.1.2 and it still doesn't work if i mount my 3.5gb /dev/sda1 FAT32 part. and switch to a directory with a lot files (say >100) and do "ls" or go to mc...or if i use find to find something, it suddenly freezes for 30secondes with the controller led fully lightening and then it does an scsi reset...it times out too if i really do a lot on my ext2 /dev/sda2...fat32 works on /dev/hda1...so.. very strange... and: i have a quantom xpw4300..is this a 40 or 20megs device?? i thought it's 40 cause it's on the wide-cable...but i get only 20... thanx kiwi128@geocities.com (no, this is my real email; i don't have any other) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-aic7xxx" in the body of the message
