So, yeah, the bios is recognizing the card and this Mylex RAID EzAssist 1.00-16 seems to take the config to do mirroring. when i try to keep booting off the freebsd 4.2 cd i get halted at the point where it's waiting for scsi devices to settle i remember noting that there was support for this particular card in freebsd but i have lost the url for that and when i strarting the search again i stumbled across your mail archive and thought i would post to it.
