ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook
or ftp.CC.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook
where CC is your country code.

For example I downloaded these files on the french mirror:

 2,6M 12 jul 07:08 book.pdf.bz2
 3,0M 12 jul 07:08 book.pdf.zip

 MD5 (book.pdf.bz2) = 3f2279003ac4e77bb5c2a9e7a34752e5
 MD5 (book.pdf.zip) = e1d29c7dc3df0e6e48e60a92f0a55332

You should get a .pdf file with about 631 pages (index is broken).
