Hi all
i use FreeBSD 4.2
i have 2 3Com NICs and want to configure them,
one of them has been detected automitically as ep1.
First i want to know what is "ep" and what is its
difference to ed and other such abreviations.
For identifying next card should i place next line in
kernel configuration file and /etc/rc.conf as ep0 or
ed0?
Should the NIC cable be plugged to card for FreeBSD to
ping cards successfully?
