Didn't really sure can this helps... I had the problem like this with specific Compaq SCSI adapter. (sorry, didn't remember now it's numbers...etc) I reach out this problem by the way below: 1. Install fbsd on another pc (in my situation I have it on my desktop) 2. Build custom kernel with those SCSI adapters drivers 3. Put custom kernel into boot floppy. After that I start installation of fbsd as always and that's all... Custom directives for kernel of my SCSI adapter I found in the "/usr/src/sys/i386/conf/LINT". -- Best regards, Aleksey I.
