Retrieving packages > from the CD works fine. Set the ftp mode on the installing machine to 'retry'. That will let sysinstall try some other paths, one of which is the cd's proper path. Make sure the CD is mounted under '/pub/FreeBSD/2.1.0-RELEASE/' though.
