Wouldn't most anything work nicely -
As long as you aviod "Strange" video / network / soundcards
If you go for a do it yourself I think you will get the most bang for
the bucks,
and you get exactly what you want.
Myself I run on several HP Kayaks at work. (Uptime enormously good)
With the new X the videocards are supported nicely as well.
