Flags: Flags: maintainer-feedback? Created attachment 192767 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D192767&action= =3Dedit Patch updating x11-wm/swm to 1.3.5 I was looking at the list of out-dated ports without a maintainer[1] and I found x11-wm/swm. I managed to update it to update it to version 1.3.5. Here's the changelog: > v1.3.5: > * changed all swm stuff to sWM to avoid confusion with old swm... > * added doxygen developer documentation > * removed a bug that caused strange focus behaviour > * exposeHandler was changed to react faster in debug mode > * added extra handling check in keyEventHandler to improve stability & sp= eed > * added new "first-time" wizzard and sWM runtime configuration > * changed Makefile based installation I simplified the Makefile as well. The problem is that neither the current version nor the new 1.3.5 is workin= g on my laptop. The X session starts but there's only black screen and no errors= as fair as I can tell. feh, however, successfully sets a background wallpaper. The software is not maintained since 2004.[2] Shouldn't we remove it from t= he tree? I'm attaching the patch just in case.
