The answers to my question is what I want to learn because I did not know them . I am not using FreeBSD because FreeBSD was not working on my computers starting from release 9.1+ (?) . Now I want to start again by using a new computer and release 14 . Thank you very much . With my best wishes and happiness everything good for you . What's the intent? For a local mirror try the following:

=C2=A0 #### On 13.0 amd64 the whole set is about 90 GiB and it constantly c= hanges
=C2=A0 # pkg fetch -r FreeBSD -a
=C2=A0 # mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos
=C2=A0 # printf 'cache: {\n=C2=A0 url: "file:///var/cache/pkg"= ;,\n=C2=A0 enabled: yes\n}\n' >/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/cache.conf =C2=A0 # pkg repo /var/cache/pkg

If you just want to browse available packages the directory listing via
HTTP has been disabled due to "the generation of these indexes was
causing excessive CPU load on the servers" (bug 247998). Instead use FreshPorts, pkg(8) or manually parse e.g.,

=C2=A0 $ w3m -dump
https://freshports.org/www/firefox
=C2=A0 [...]
=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 ABI=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 = =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0latest=C2=A0 quarterly
=C2=A0 [...]
=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 FreeBSD:13:amd64=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A095.0.2,2 95.0.2,2<= br> =C2=A0 [...]

=C2=A0 $ pkg rquery %v firefox
=C2=A0 95.0.2,2

=C2=A0 $ fetch https://pkg.freebsd.or= g/FreeBSD:13:amd64/latest/packagesite.pkg
=C2=A0 $ tar xOf packagesite.pkg --include \*.yaml | jq -r '.. | select= (.name? =3D=3D "firefox") | .version'
=C2=A0 95.0.2,2

I want to install a FreeBSD=C2=A0 release and the required packages=C2=A0= to work on the sources
to generate=C2=A0 an easy insta= llable=C2=A0 release and more improvements applied to=C2=A0 it .

=

The answers to my question is what I wa= nt to learn because I did not know them .
I am not using Fre= eBSD because FreeBSD was not working on my computers starting=C2=A0 from re= lease 9.1+ (?) .=C2=A0 Now I want to start again by using a new computer an= d release 14=C2=A0 .

Thank you very much .

With my best wish= es and happiness everything=C2=A0 good for you .
