I have this scenario Pete:

connecting an existing lan to the wireless backbone!

Can the AP-500 route packets between that lan and the backbone?  The
wireless backbone has a COR in place. In my understanding, the AP can be
used to wirelessly connect a group of statiions to a wired backbone or so.
But how about connecting a wired lan to a wireless backbone!

Hope that clears things up!
