If they are made by Startech, you will get the occasional bad one that will show similar behaviour. We make heavy use of 3ware cards = on our FreeBSD servers and they are much more sensitive to bad trays in our experience. We go through quite a few as we use pullouts on all our = boxes at the office and for customer servers we build. If possible, run the problem drive directly on the cable, or move the drives around to see if your problems follow the drives or the trays. ---Mike Mike Tancsa (mike@sentex.net)=09 http://www.sentex.net/mike To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
