It's badly implemented and many capable persons have failed to find a way to solve the rather serious problems it suffers from. ATAPI tapes seems to be the way of the future for cheap tapes. Any scheme asking users permission for removal will always prevent even the slightest weeding out. The criteria needs to be on maintenance status, since money cannot be used as a gauge. -- Poul-Henning Kamp FreeBSD coreteam member phk@FreeBSD.ORG "Real hackers run -current on their laptop."
