I've moved to X4.0.2 and run into gotcha with qt (2.2.3_3). The trouble is that qt applications (4example licq) can see only limited number of fonts and there's no russian koi8-r fonts there. I found that last qt port commit came with new patch (qt-aa-2.2.3.diff.gz) which full of diffs on font engine.
