Actually I was talking about using external dependency to print/freetype2
in XFree86-4 instead of rolling out its own version. Our dependency
machanism work reasonably well and I don't see why XFree86-4 shouldn't
use it. This won't decrease functionality of XFree86-4.

It is already known that XFree86-4 installs incomplete version of
freetype2 which creates number of weird problems.
