I am down with a "few" dollars. However, after perusing a few of the sites, the bare minimum cheapest going rate seems to be around $30. Anyone know of any cheaper freebsd CDs out there? Student rate perhaps? -----Original Message----- From: Bill Moran [mailto:wmoran@potentialtech.com] Sent: Monday, June 16, 2003 4:34 PM To: Valerie Andrewlevich Cc: questions@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: free? FreeBSD is free. The CD is not free. That simple. Once you have purchased a CD you welcome to copy it or install it as many times as you wish. Spending a few dollars on a CD is one way that many people contribute to the FreeBSD project. Or you can download it off the Internet, if you have a fast enough connection or enough patience. -- Bill Moran Potential Technologies http://www.potentialtech.com
