Hello! I'm getting a message at crash time: Nov 29 16:54:23 tango /kernel: Out of mbuf clusters - increase maxusers! Followed shortly on bootup by: Nov 29 17:04:57 tango savecore: no core dump My question: why the hell isn't there a core dump? I believe I've followed all the necessary steps to ensure a dump. Here's some sysctl output: machdep.do_dump: 1 kern.dumpdev: { major = 4, minor = 131073 } From rc.conf: dumpdev="/dev/sd0s1b" And that device: brw-r----- 1 root operator 4, 0x00020001 Apr 15 1999 /dev/sd0s1b Here's pstat -s: Device 512-blocks Used Avail Capacity Type /dev/sd0s1b 2048000 15728 2032144 1% Interleaved So what's going on? This is on a 2.2.8 release. Anyone know of a stock problem with it? To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
