Good evening. I'm running STABLE ( FreeBSD 10.1-BETA2 #0 r271900 ) with newcons and got a TTM error (see dmesg)- screen got scrumbled and everything got slow for a moment, but to my surprise nothing broke, restarted or no kernel panic. This happened when i was watching a movie in mpv and opened a VirtualBox Windows7 machine. Basically, i can still report that everything works for me, but maybe this TTM error can help fix some problems that are still there with the new X stuff. dmesg => http://pastebin.com/5nXWQGFs devinfo => http://pastebin.com/05sR7BVp pciconf => http://pastebin.com/f2n8p8UR pkg info => http://pastebin.com/x8ZtGmwT xorg.conf => http://pastebin.com/PW8Wc764 xorg.log => http://pastebin.com/m1CN43eN A sidenote from my experience: when using the new drivers from trunk branch - Xorg refuses to start (with the old console). It only works if i manually load the radeonkms module first. It's no a problem on STABLE with newcons, but on RELEASE this was a dealbreaker for me. here's a Xorg.log on that problem. http://pastebin.com/1iPaPSg9 At the moment i'm actually quite happy with my FreeBSD desktop - everything works properly and i haven't gotten any reboots. Thank you X11 team.
