Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have read and read and read everything I can find on upgrading to 3.1.. So far I have tried it on two different machines.. both 3.0, similar loadouts.. one made it perfectly, the other choked.. it wont boot ANY kernels I compile now.. it says Invalid format, but I can boot my old kernels fine.. if anyone knows that problem, let me know. But, it puts me in a place that now I am afraid to upgrade a production machine (who isnt). It is a 2.2.8 machine, is there somewhere I can find some more gory details on upgrade processes for the 2.2x branch.. and disaster recovery if an upgrade is to fail?
